Humbold Properties is a family business that has been part of the Yonge and Steeles community for four decades. As Toronto and the GTA continue to grow, investments in public transit and city-building infrastructure from the provincial government means the future of the neighbourhood is changing.

As part of that change, we’ve created a plan for our properties located at 72 Steeles Ave W and 7040 Yonge St, at the northwest quadrant of Yonge and Steeles. You can click here for an aerial view, highlighting the boundaries of our property.

This website is a hub for information about our proposal and will highlight opportunities for our neighbours, and others who frequent the Yonge-Steeles neighbourhood, to receive updates on our proposal and development for this site.

We’ve submitted our application for this site, which you can find here. Our proposal anticipates the construction of a mixed-use development that would incorporate four towers, built in three phases over the coming years. We have worked hard to ensure that our proposal includes new opportunities for both residential and vibrant commercial spaces, like shops, restaurants, and cafes, along with outdoor areas for the community to enjoy.

We want to continue to be part of this community for decades to come and, for that vision to succeed, we need to build something that compliments the area and contributes to our neighbours’ lives.

On October 15th, we held a virtual community open house to provide residents with an update on our plans for this site.
