We are still at an early stage in our application process and want to continue working with the community to understand your needs and ensure we’re considering how we can best contribute to the neighbourhood for generations to come. We’re committed to providing people who are interested in the project with regular opportunities to engage with us, as well as give feedback on our plans and the process as it continues.
To introduce the neighbourhood to the project, we held meetings with the Springfarm Ratepayers Association and Councillor Shefman. We also hosted an open house meeting on March 4th, 2020. If you were unable to attend the open house, you can find the materials presented at that meeting, here.
On October 15th, we held a virtual community open house to provide residents with an update on our plans for this site. If you were unable to join us, you can find a video recording of the virtual open house here as well as a written summary outlining the types of questions we heard from attendees here.
We also encourage interested people to contact us through the form below to let us know what you want to see in the neighbourhood. You can also use that form to let us know that you want to receive updates as plans for the project come together.
We will continue to engage with the community, as well as city planning staff and Councillor Shefman as we refine and update the proposal, to ensure that it’ll deliver a great result.
This is the beginning of a process – one that won’t end with an application, approval, or even completed construction. We’re here for the long term and are excited about the future. We’d love to hear from you.
