We are still at an early stage in our application process and want to continue working with the community to understand your needs and ensure we’re considering how we can best contribute to the neighbourhood for generations to come. We’re committed to providing people who are interested in the project with regular opportunities to engage with us, as well as give feedback on our plans and the process as it continues.

On September 30, 2021, we had the opportunity to present to the Vaughan Yonge and Steeles Centre Working Group where we shared some revisions to our application that we’ve made based on our ongoing discussions and learnings since our first submission in fall 2020. The presentation we gave can be viewed here.

The revisions focus on the creation of a new planned indoor community space, and on making sure that the indoor and outdoor community spaces are pedestrian friendly, accessible, and connected to the rest of the site.

Our revised application can be viewed here.

To introduce the neighbourhood to the project, we held meetings with the Springfarm Ratepayers Association and Councillor Shefman. We also hosted an open house meeting on March 4th, 2020. If you were unable to attend the open house, you can find the materials presented at that meeting, here.

On October 15th, 2020, we held a virtual community open house to provide residents with an update on our plans for this site. If you were unable to join us, you can find a video recording of the virtual open house here as well as a written summary outlining the types of questions we heard from attendees here.

Get in Touch

We also encourage interested people to contact us through the form below to let us know what you want to see in the neighbourhood.

We will continue to engage with the community, as well as city planning staff and Councillor Shefman, to ensure that our project will deliver a great result.

This is the beginning of a process – one that won’t end with an application, approval, or even completed construction. We’re here for the long term and are excited about the future. We’d love to hear from you.
